The virtual.eyes website is up, and the comments so far were positive.

virtual.eyes will soon launch a new project. The main features will still be photography and art, but there will be a lot more involved.

I have recently been asked why I ever stopped writing, and well, I don't really know. Maybe the reason was that a photograph tells its own story. It doesn't need words. And I had been concentrating on photography and digital art over the last years.

Sometimes, however, photography and writing go well together, and form a beautiful synthesis. So yes, there will be stories in the new project.

It will take some time, and there is a lot to do. The good weather has started (and will hopefully be with us for some time) and this means that there is a lot of photography to be done.

This photo I took at Gairloch Beach. The clouds were gathering for a very heavy gale, and I was just able to take it before the downpour started.

I'll post an extract from my drafts folder soon, so that you get an idea what is behind the new project.
